Matt's Glitch in the Matrix

So my friend Matt Lawrence posted this a long time ago, but it has always stayed in the back of my mind for some reason.  Its not that extraordinary, but regardless.  I was talking with my friend from work yesterday on our way to the train, and she was telling me how she always seems a peculiar woman every single morning regardless if she is on time for work or not!  So I thought is this - enjoy!

We celebrated at home last night and I made a freaking killer Beer & Cheddar Soup with grilled garlic toast!  I loved this long soup process and here are the photos!

Its crazy to think about the past 10  years.  We have been to Seattle, Los Angeles, Asheville, San Francisco, Antioch (ha), Michigan, Aruba and to Indiana and St. Charles a million times.  We had a dog, lost a dog, got 2 more dogs.  Bought a house, bought a dining room table, changed jobs between us  4 times.  Got a Masters Degree, got married, got surgery (his more serious then mine), experienced love, loss and everything in between.  Watched friends get married, divorced, have kids, move away, move back, move close, and even had three nephews and one niece born and watch grow up.  What a ride it has been.

Somehow the semester is halfway over already - I have no idea how but man I'm exhausted.
In my exciting news, I won a contest and work and finally got a Kindle!  I never treat myself, so this is super awesome.  Hello exciting CTA trips now!

And....September aka Summer is over.

I have no idea where to begin.  Summer suddenly ended, although one week from today it was 100 degrees, but now I'm comfortable in jeans and boots.  My favorite outfit.

Summer is too Short! My time in Michigan!

I had a GREAT TIME in Union, Michigan with a bunch of my friends for Mary-Frances's birthday.  The weather was perfect, it was a total and complete blast.  I'm so sad to be back at my desk working today.
